Netsurion, a provider of secure connectivity, threat management and IT compliance solutions, has announced at Channel Partners Evolution a new MSP-focused package of their software-defined wide-area network (SD-WAN-as-a-service) solution, Netsurion Connect. With the expansion of their program, MSPs are able to quickly increase their capabilities without additional overhead.
The new MSP bundle of Netsurion Connect SD-WAN is an all-in-one secure connectivity solution. With one subscription-based platform, MSPs can offer their clients:
- SD-WAN architecture for cloud management and network function virtualization
- Secure Wi-Fi and 4G LTE cellular for always-on connectivity
- Next-generation managed firewall for enhanced security
- A full suite of PCI DSS compliance tools
The new edition of Netsurion Connect SD-WAN puts the MSP in the driver seat and creates new revenue and value-added service opportunities by allowing them to be the “hands-on-keyboard” and “eyes-on-glass,” while Netsurion supports the infrastructure. Netsurion Connect SD-WAN allows MSPs and Master Agents to deliver future-proof, cost-effective and differentiated services that provide single pane of glass visibility to respond to today’s evolving digital transformation, saving customers time and money when it matters most.
What’s particularly unique about Netsurion's MSP solutions are that they effectively combine several networking security capabilities that typically would require multiple providers. Netsurion Connect allows service providers to bundle their network capabilities into a cohesive solution that significantly simplifies the on-premise network and drives down costs associated with hardware and bandwidth. Netsurion Connect SD-WAN includes Netsurion CXD, an inexpensive SD-WAN edge router that embeds Wi-Fi, 4G LTE cellular and stateful firewall. The entire solution is remotely deployed and managed from Netsurion’s Connect Orchestrator.
, a customer who is building the largest free car charging network in the U.S., was able to select a best-fit network connectivity and security solution based on Netsurion Connect SD-WAN. The backing of Netsurion remote support gave them the assurance that they could scale to support their growing number of locations and expand functionality with the same solution. Volta has a total of 500 charging stations in the country and over 400 stations are using Netsurion products, with more making the transition. “Security is extremely important to Volta as we grow and add new products,” says Jon Michaels, senior vice president of Volta Charging. “Netsurion Connect allows visibility and understanding into the network while being connected in order to troubleshoot any problems at a low cost.”
According to John Ayers, Netsurion’s vice president of product management, “Netsurion is now able to deliver a tailored solution to meet the requirements of SMB branch offices that need the support of the distributed environment with a centralized management system. It provides a low-cost entry point for MSPs looking to deliver a broader network and security solution set to customers in a simple, compliant solution.”
The new package builds on the company’s existing channel programs. Netsurion Protect has been empowering MSPs with advanced threat protection and compliance based on the EventTracker SIEM (security information and event management) platform since the partner program was announced in the summer of 2017. The offering is aimed at empowering MSPs that may not have the resources to implement and consistently monitor this comprehensive network connectivity solution.
Netsurion Comply layers in tools and support services to help achieve regulatory compliance. Merchant PCI DSS compliance is a primary focus of Netsurion. Netsurion Comply includes the PCI compliance management portal with self-assessment questionnaire, vulnerability scanning, reports and a compliance support staff to answer PCI DSS questions.Resources

Netsurion powers secure and agile networks for highly distributed and small-to-medium enterprises and the IT providers that serve them. In such environments, the convergence of threat protection and network management are driving the need for greater interoperability between the NOC (network operations center) and the SOC (security operations center) as well as solutions that fuse technology and service to achieve optimal results. To this end, Netsurion has converged purpose-built network hardware, innovative security software, and flexible managed services. Netsurion’s SD-Branch solution, BranchSDO, is a comprehensive network management and security solution consisting of SD-WAN, next-gen security, cellular, Wi-Fi, and PCI DSS compliance tools and support. At the heart of the solution is the CXD, Netsurion’s SD-WAN edge appliance. Netsurion’s Security Operations solution, EventTracker, delivers advanced threat protection and compliance benefits in a variety of deployment options: a SIEM platform, a co-managed SIEM service with 24/7 SOC, and a managed SIEM for MSPs.
