The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for the quality and accurate shipment of equipment to customers in a timely manner in support of installation appointments. The shipments shall be done in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. In addition, the Inventory Coordinator shall maintain the stockroom and inventory in a safe and organized manner to ensure inventory is stored and maintained in a safe, secure and undamaged environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform job responsibilities in a quality and professional manner.
  • Maintain security and control of corporate inventory and assigned assets.
  • Store inventory in a safe, organized and secure manner to prevent damage or loss.
  • Support the performance of inventory cycle counts.
  • Ship customer equipment in a quality and cost-efficient manner.
  • Administer RMA process by shipping units and coordinating the return of the RMA unit.
  • Process returned equipment in a timely manner with appropriate disposition of return to manufacturer, return to stock, dispose.
  • Support customers with the processing of inventory returns as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

EXPERIENCE AND STANDARDS:

  • Experience in shipment of equipment using cost-effective common carriers and services.
  • Experience in inventory and asset management.
  • 2-3 years of experience with small to rapidly growing multi-site technology firm.
  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field. Equivalent years’ experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Possess excellent organizational, attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Comfortable with direct contact with customers for confirming shipment addresses.
  • Independent, self-motivated individual that is able to work alone in completing assignments.
