Product Portfolio Manager

Summary

The Product Portfolio Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Portfolio Lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements; defining the product vision; and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure objectives are attained. The Product Manager’s job also includes aligning product portfolio to the company’s overall strategy and goals.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and implement product strategy and roadmap
• Organize and manage multiple product portfolio projects
• Become an industry expert familiar with Netsurion’s competitive landscape
• Deliver MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification
• Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
• Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples
• Be an expert with respect to the competition
• Act as a leader within the company

Technical requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (MS/MBA preferred), or equivalent documented experience
• Technical background, with experience in cloud computing
• Experience managing complex and integrated project plans
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

Education and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience at a technical product focused company in a related role
• Previous experience in a Product Management or related role (minimum 1 year)
• Demonstrated success defining and launching technical products
• 10+ years of experience in technology-related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Language Ability

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional atmosphere with responsibilities working from home and working from the office as required by management. There are times when you will be required to be alone in the office to perform essential duties.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Standard office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Expected work hours may vary.
