The Renewals Specialist will manage a portfolio of customer subscriptions to industry best in class retention rates and partner with colleagues across the business to meet our revenue goals through deal structuring, problem-solving, and sophisticated negotiation. You will be the trusted partner and go-to person to maintain customer retention and organic growth of our existing client base. You will communicate with the broader customer success and sales organization to deliver a positive high-value customer experience at the time of renewal, and throughout the client journey.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Own the customer renewal process from quote to close working with sales and customer success engineering.
  • Develop renewal strategies to retain and grow client base, meeting quarterly churn targets
  • Forecast and maintain rolling 180-day portfolio by identifying risk and upsell opportunities through analyzing customer data and insights together with renewals forecasting methodology.
  • Collaborate with teams to maximize renewal outcome and to ensure on-time renewals by being a project manager to ensure positive progression of renewal strategy.
  • Provide input to scale and drive internal processes
  • Working with our Client Success Team to ensure escalations and actions are captured and followed up

Technical Requirements

  • Proficient working in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook etc.
  • Skilled in MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Experience with SaaS/Managed Services and Cybersecurity solutions

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years’ experience selling to mid-market enterprise
  • 2+ years’ selling for a vendor or VAR endpoint security EDR/MDR/XDR/Anti-Virus preferred but not required
  • Experience building productive business professional relationships
  • Proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills
  •  Experience with time management and organizational skills
  • Renewals-specific experience
  • Customer-facing experience working in Sales or Customer Success
  • Fluent in commercial conversation with sales teams and able to provide necessary guidance for business outcomes.

Language Ability

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. Ability to prioritize tasks according to Operations plan. Knowledge of Spanish is a plus but not mandatory.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional atmosphere with responsibilities working from home and working from the office as required by management. There are times when you will be required to be alone in the office to perform essential duties.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.
