Summary

The Sr. Director, MTP Channel Sales is Netsurion’s primary contact with our strategic MTP sales partners and will function as advisor, coach, and sales partner. The Sr. Director, MTP Channel Sales provides leadership, direction, resource stewardship to the Netsurion’s MTP Channel sales function. As one of Netsurion’s sales leaders, the person is accountable for a team and overall sales organization performance, the profitable achievement of sales organization goals, and for aligning sales objectives with firm business strategy.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Engage stagnant or underperforming partners on new products and services
  • Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s partner sales goals
  • Foster a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement
  • Manage the MTP Channel sales teams, associated operations and resources to deliver profitable growth
  • Manage the use of budgets
  • Define optimal sales force structure
  • Hire and develop sales staff
  • Become known as an employer of choice and a sales force that top salespeople want to join
  • Participate in the creation of and oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs
  • Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives
  • Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Participate in the creation of the sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required
  • Utilize the infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts
  • Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions, present this data to Executive management
  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions
  • Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
  • Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners to develop key relationships

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of Sales experience or 15+ years’ Sales experience
  • Successful experience building a go-to-market strategy and corporate sales plan
  • Successful experience building and growing a channel
  • Successful experience selling Cyber Security products/services
  • Successful experience closing six-figure deals and above
  • Successful experience monitoring and evaluating sales rep progress against stated expectations, in addition to aligning and changing behavior with performance expectations
  • Successful experience managing a team of 5+ salespeople
  • Experience managing key customer relationships and closing strategic opportunities
  • Successful experience utilizing a CRM to manage team sales tasks, pipeline, and closing data
  • Successful experience hiring and onboarding sales representatives
  • Successful experience building and managing a territory (include geography if necessary)
  • Experience providing status reports with market and customer feedback to the corporate leadership team
  • Demonstrated ability in all aspects of sales leadership
  • Excellent oral and written communication, reporting, and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Office software such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Experience with CRM tools, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Sugar CRM, etc.

Desired Skills

  • Understanding of payments space ecosystem
  • Knowledge of PCI DSS, HIPAA, other compliance requirements
  • Technical understanding of network security and Managed Security Services Providers

Language Ability

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. Ability to prioritize tasks according to Operations plan.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional atmosphere with responsibilities working from home and working from the office as required by management. There are times when you will be required to be alone in the office to perform essential duties.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.
