GFI MailEssentials detects and blocks phishing emails, and adds email management tools to your mail server, including disclaimers, mail monitoring, Internet mail reporting, list server, server-based auto replies and POP3 downloading.
Netsurion Open XDR consumes the pdf reports configured in GFI MailEssentials and display them in report dashboard.
Netsurion Data Source Integrations for GFI MailEssentials allows you to monitor the following components: –
- Security – Email blocked and Spam filters.
- Operation – Email direction.
- Compliance – User reports.
Once GFI MailEssentials is configured to deliver events to Netsurion Open XDR Manager; reports can be configured into Netsurion Open XDR.

Reports

| Security | Emails Blocked | It shows total emails blocked by anti-spam and anti-malware filters for each email direction (Inbound, Outbound and Internal) out of all emails processed. |

| Operations | Email Direction | It shows total emails processed for each email direction – Inbound, Outbound and Internal. |
| Compliance | User Report | shows the number of blocked and allowed emails for each email address. |
