Microsoft Windows Hyper-V

Version: Windows Server 2008 and later.

The Microsoft Windows Hyper-V server role in Windows Server lets you create a virtualized server computing environment where you can create and manage virtual machines. You can run multiple operating systems on one physical computer and isolate the operating systems from each other.

Netsurion Data Source Integrations for Microsoft Windows Hyper-V allows you to monitor the following components:-

  • Operations – Hard disk partition management, SAN management and VM failed to unregister.
  • Security – Switch port created, Resource management and Image management service status.
  • Compliance – Virtual machine creation, Virtual machine operational message, Virtual disk image management and Virtual switch management.

Once Microsoft Windows Hyper-V is configured to deliver events to Netsurion Open XDR Manager; alerts, dashboards and reports can be configured into Netsurion Open XDR.

The following are the key Data Source Integration available in Netsurion Open XDR.
