Jira Service Desk is a help desk request tracker by Atlassian. With Jira Service Desk, you can easily receive, track, manage, and resolve requests. Netsurion Open XDR integrates with JIRA Service Desk to track and monitor the security events such as authentication and login attempts.

Netsurion Data Source Integration for JIRA Service Desk allows you to monitor the following components.

  • Security – Login failed events, this helps us to detect any brute force attacks that might occur.
  • Compliance – Login logout activities helps you track the user’s login and logout activity on the server.

Alerts

Type Name Description
Security JIRA Service Desk – Login failed This alert is generated when login failed event occurs, multiple login failures may indicate a brute force attack.

Reports

Type Name Description
Security JIRA Service Desk – Login failures This report provides information about the login failed attempts. It gives information about the user whose login failed and the reason for the failure.
Compliance JIRA Service Desk – Login logout activities This report gives information about the login-logout activities, along with the username, source IP address and session ID.
