Netsurion Open XDR collects and analyses queries executed and enlightens an administrator about database management, user management and table management.

Netsurion Data Source Integration for MySQL allows you to monitor the following components:-

  • Operations – User authentication success, User password changed and User management .
  • Compliance – Database management, Table management and User authentication failed.

Once MySQL is configured to deliver events to Netsurion Open XDR Manager; alerts, dashboards and reports can be configured into Netsurion Open XDR.

Security MySQL – Privilege change This alert is generated when administrator grant or revoke the privileges to the user.
Security MySQL – User password reset This alert is generated when administrator reset the user password.
Operations MySQL – User created This alert is generated when administrator creates the user.
Compliance MySQL – Service down This alert is generated when MySQL service is shutdown by the administrator.
Compliance MySQL – User authentication failed This alert is generated when user enters wrong credentials to connect MySQL database.
Compliance MySQL – Delete database This alert is generated when administrator deletes the database.
Compliance MySQL – Delete table This alert is generated when administrator deletes the table.

Reports

Type Name Description
Security MySQL – Privileges management This report provides information related to privilege management when administrator has granted or revoked the privileges from the particular user. It consist of columns LogTime, Computer, User Name, Client Host, Privileges, Database, User Details, Privileges On and Query Executed.
Operations MySQL – User authentication success This report provides the information related to authentication success when user connects the database with valid credentials. It consists of columns LogTime, Computer, User Name, Client Host and Database.
Operations MySQL – User management This report provides the information related to user management when administrator creates, drops and rename the user details. It consists of columns LogTime, Computer, User Name, Client Host, Action, User Details, Database and Query Executed.
Compliance MySQL – Authentication failure This report provides the information related to authentication failure when user enters the wrong credentials and failed to connect the database. It consists of columns LogTime, Computer, User Name, Client Host, Action and Database.
Compliance MySQL – Database management This report provides information related to database management when user creates and drops the database. It consists of columns LogTime, Computer, Client Host, User Name, Action and Database Name.
Compliance MySQL – Table management This report provides information related to table management when user creates, drops, rename, update, insert and alter the table. It consists of LogTime, Computer, Client Host, User Name, Database, Action and Table Name.
