Cerberus FTP Server is a Windows-based FTP server with support for encrypted FTP sessions via FTPS and SFTP as well as web client support via HTTP and HTTPS.
Cerberus FTP Server can be integrated with Netsurion Open XDR, which monitors the activity occurring in the FTP server – like file uploads and downloads, user logons and logoffs, password expirations, and disabled users. Netsurion Open XDR helps you visualize Cerberus FTP activities in a dashboard, which triggers alerts when a user is disabled or an IP address is blocked.
Netsurion Open XDR monitors events from Cerberus SFTP Server. Flex reports, alerts, and dashboards help you analyze all security-related events. Through alerts, knowledge base solutions, and reports, Netsurion Open XDR helps you correct problems long before a catastrophic failure occurs.

Once events are received into Netsurion, Reports, Knowledge Objects and Categories can be configured into Netsurion Open XDR. Netsurion Open XDR monitors all the Cerberus SFTP Server events, some of which are given below.
- Security – Login and Logout events, Account Blocked, User Disabled and password Expired.
- Compliance – User management and File Operations, File Activities.
- Operation – User sessions, Changes and Activities
Once Cerberus SFTP Server is configured to deliver events to Netsurion Open XDR Manager; Knowledge objects and reports can be configured into Netsurion Open XDR.
