TeamViewer is the popular Internet-based remote administration software. It provides an All-In-One solution to features such as remote control, desktop sharing, file transferring, messaging, meetings etc. Netsurion Open XDR utilizes TeamViewer’s reporting API to fetch connection reports from TeamViewer Management Console. For standalone installations, incoming connections are monitored on critical systems for suspicious activities using TeamViewer’s native logging.

Netsurion Data Source Integrations for TeamViewer allows you to monitor the following:-

  • Operations – Incoming and outgoing remote connections

Once TeamViewer is configured to deliver events to Netsurion Open XDR; alerts, dashboards and reports can be configured into Netsurion Open XDR.

Type Name Description
Operations TeamViewer – Connection details(Management Console) This report provides information related to users accessing remote systems through TeamViewer which includes Session Start Time, Session End Time, Source User Name, Source User Group, Destination Device Name and Session Details fields.
Operations TeamViewer – Incoming connection details(Native Logging) This report provides information related to remote users accessing monitored system through TeamViewer which includes Session Start Time, Session End Time, Source Device Name, Source User ID, Destination User Name, Destination Device Name and Session Type fields.
